Our day at the beach...

We want to let all of you know that we are brave souls at Ibiza too. Yesterday was definitely not an ideal beach day. It was a little too breezy, bordering on windy with sand blowing in our eyes. But, because we love the beach as much as we do and because we wanted to get a little sun and it didn't matter at what cost, we headed out trying our hardest to pretend that it was an amazing day at the beach. Although we didn't get as much sun as we wanted or got to jump in the water as much because it was a little chilly, it was still a great day. But, I guess that goes to show that any day spent at the beach is a perfect 10 in our book. And, a little FYI, what did we wear on this little occasion on the beach. An amazing bikini by Poko Pano and a beautiful tankini by Leilani. :)

Suntan Secrets Revealed...

Now that it's finally getting sunny here in Michigan we have already noticed a few sun goddesses that have gone from fair-skin porcelain to slightly red and burned. Don't be one of the few who soak up so much sun that it causes a sun burn! Just how long can you go? Sun worshippers with medium to dark complexions can go with a sunscreen SPF as low as 15 on the body (but 30 on the face) and still be protected. However, fair- and sensitive-skinned beach beauties should stick with SPF 30. Did you know it takes 20 minutes for sunscreen to fully absorb into your skin? Make sure and apply before you head outside. Some our favorites for skin care in the sun include Banana Boat products, because they protect us and leave us smelling like we just came from the islands, and one of our newest must-haves Estee Lauder Multi-Protection Sun Towelettes for body (slip a couple in your beach bag and you are all set)!
