Our day at the beach...

We want to let all of you know that we are brave souls at Ibiza too. Yesterday was definitely not an ideal beach day. It was a little too breezy, bordering on windy with sand blowing in our eyes. But, because we love the beach as much as we do and because we wanted to get a little sun and it didn't matter at what cost, we headed out trying our hardest to pretend that it was an amazing day at the beach. Although we didn't get as much sun as we wanted or got to jump in the water as much because it was a little chilly, it was still a great day. But, I guess that goes to show that any day spent at the beach is a perfect 10 in our book. And, a little FYI, what did we wear on this little occasion on the beach. An amazing bikini by Poko Pano and a beautiful tankini by Leilani. :)

Suntan Secrets Revealed...

Now that it's finally getting sunny here in Michigan we have already noticed a few sun goddesses that have gone from fair-skin porcelain to slightly red and burned. Don't be one of the few who soak up so much sun that it causes a sun burn! Just how long can you go? Sun worshippers with medium to dark complexions can go with a sunscreen SPF as low as 15 on the body (but 30 on the face) and still be protected. However, fair- and sensitive-skinned beach beauties should stick with SPF 30. Did you know it takes 20 minutes for sunscreen to fully absorb into your skin? Make sure and apply before you head outside. Some our favorites for skin care in the sun include Banana Boat products, because they protect us and leave us smelling like we just came from the islands, and one of our newest must-haves Estee Lauder Multi-Protection Sun Towelettes for body (slip a couple in your beach bag and you are all set)!

Vitamin A Causes A Stir!

The buzz mill is going about Vitamin A swimwear. This celebrity favorite brand has been spotted on Jessica Alba and Jennifer Aniston and most recently Ashlee Simpson and Lauren Conrad. We just spotted the Cerise Paradise Plunge Tunic in InStyle Magazine and most recently last night we even spotted Catt Sadler, from E's Daily 10, wearing a Vitamin A bikini in sun with a matching Vitamin A hooded brown tunic. What we love about the brand, created by California girl Amahlia Stevens, is that the Italian-made fabrics are extremely luxurious and definitely catch an eye or two. But, the perfectly cut bikinis fit amazingly well. There is added hidden Lycra in all of the hidden seams so there is just enough extra support for when you want to take a break from the sun and head into the water. Ladies, we love summer don't we? No more bulky sweaters, tight jeans or baggy sweatshirts. Oh no, we were never so happy to trade them in for our favorite summer piece: the dress. Swim Goes Grecian

We can't believe it, but our beloved Poko Pano is showing up everywhere we look. The brand, created by Brazilian swimwear designer Paola Robba, gets more and more amazing with every collection. And this year is no exception. Our favorite Poko Pano bikini, the Cesaria, has been spotted in magazines from Vogue to Shape, where Angie Harmon sported it on the cover in Merlot. The Cesaria is a modern take on the Grecian dress. The top is so unique! It actually twists in the front and ties on one side. It looks like a bandeau, but only way sexier! The bottom is our personal favorite this year. It ties on one side, but... both the front and the back can be made smaller (cute, cute!!) or larger to flatter all your moods. The most amazing color is the gray and white combo. We only have a few left in stock of this suit so hurry and get yours before it's too late!

We are so excited! In case you haven't heard yet, tomorrow will be our first official day at the beach in Caseville. Why? According to local weather reports it is supposed to be 80 degrees and sunny! Finally, some warm weather for us Michiganders. We'll be at Caseville Beach, our favorite local hot-spot.
